Concert Benefit 2020!
Winkie's Singers were set to perform for the PSC Kids Concert Benefit on May 2, 2020. Due to COVID19, we are in the process of creating the show for online viewing! COVID19 has caused us to stretch our imaginations, learn new "tools of the trade" and inspired us to KEEP ON GOING!!! After all, with Him, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
The show is in the editing process and the new date will be announced as soon as possible. We appreciate the Winkie's Singers continual support and look forward to hosting, "The Winkie's Singers After Awards Party!".
May God continue to keep you safe, healthy and uplift you during this time. John 3:16
Giving children the tools to overcome real-world challenges, such as low self-image; bullying; drug and alcohol use; by addressing the mind, body, and soul, through our PSC Life-Prep Skills, Performing Arts and Scholarship Workshops.
To prepare children to continue their education, whether degreed or vocational, toward a career which will support them for life.
Project Self Control combines proven youth development techniques, performing arts programs, and scholarship incentives teaching children positive energy outlets and coping skills. They look forward to graduating and are better prepared to succeed in life and overcoming real-world challenges.
Our life-prep skills; PSC Mentors and musical theater programs run during summers and throughout the school year. Students may participate from 6th grade through high school graduation.
Grades 6th through 12th are PSC KIDS. PSC Kids will earn scholarship dollars toward continuing education whether it be college or vocational. The younger a student enrolls in the PSC program, the more money they earn upon graduating high school.
Our life-prep Musical Theater Program uses the performing arts to teach social-emotional learning, how to recognize negative behaviors and avoid them, promotes mental health through accredited curriculum teachings of coping skills for life and how to identify and develop their strengths.
The ultimate goal of Project Self Control is to ensure students graduate high school and are prepared to continue their education toward a career which will support them for life.
